What can we say about Jed that hasn’t already been written in history books? We all know the stories of his charm, wit, and his drooping left eye and askew smile. But what else? 

Born and raised in Wrightwood, California, Jed’s first job was an apprentice at his father’s CPA firm, EFP Associates. There he discovered an aptitude for tax, which he further entrenched studying accounting at UCSB. It was at UCSB Jed first fell in love with Santa Barbara. After graduating, Jed moved to San Francisco and continued working in tax advisory at Seiler LLP,  one of the nation’s leading advisory, tax, and accounting firms. With all the cult and culture of San Francisco, Jed was still unable to shake off the sense of home he felt in Santa Barbara and moved back in 2015. He continued working remotely with Seiler through its merger with Baker Tilly in 2024. In that time, Jed discovered the Santa Barbara wine community as a plus one to his partner, who worked for a number of Santa Barbara wineries before establishing Eislynn Wines. 10 years as a San Francisco professional and Santa Barbara local, Jed decided to localize both worlds in Santa Barbara, and in 2025, Jed began working with C&D LLP in Solvang. Jed joined the SBVF board to further root his love of wine, accounting, and community.
